Electric Dawn Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Electric Dawn

Dawn today came
in a sky so overcast
with nitrous clouds
that
even the least whiff
of winds
gave out on touch
an electric current and
the light of lightning:
destinies
unhappy and lamenting
are
coiled up in those clouds
those overcast and packed
large nitrous clouds
they have been
in that touch and go mood
through the night
but no! not enough!
they carried it through
the Dawn.
