Edited Love Poem by Lolita Lollipop

Edited Love

I knew a girl
With long brown hair
Who my heart she had slain
She smelled of incense
Long and hard
Only to want you to breathe again
Her bitter touch
That pierced my skin
Held no other feelings but love
Yet I put down her hand
Stood on her heart
Till deflated it became
Grew quickly loneliness
From bitter arts
Of knowing what I had done
Killed her soul
And eaten her flesh
Leaving her with none
She recovered
Though quite slowly
And I felt guilt beyond request
And asked her repentance
For me to atone
In the bloody sea of her poison
I apologized mere
A thousand times
And shed my tears to life
Carving the mountains
Of a droughted village
And brought the fruitful lives
She swore that she
Couldn’t love me wouldn’t
But I told her, your wrong
So she proceeded to prove me wrong
As she stomped, she stomped, she stomped
Cutting the flakes
Of the forgotten heart
That lay inside my chest
A broken stick
The loosening ticks
Finally it fell apart
She gave a smile
But offered me none
As her weapon fell to the ground
Her soul, her strengths
God forsake, her sound
Her every movement killed the beast
That gave her pain at first
She shed her goods and left me with the bads
Of a broken requited deal
