Earthquake In Japan Poem by James Hart

Earthquake In Japan

Silver spoons slithered off speechless shelves
Bewildered books blown to bottom of base
Trembling trays turf teacups on to table
Peaceful people plead prayers to Paternoster
Crashing cars collapse quasi concertinas
Waves of windswept water worry windows
Expected earthquakes erupt energising everything
