Early Works - Lonely People Poem by David Harris

Early Works - Lonely People

Rating: 5.0

In streets filled with darkness,
I search for my emptiness
trying to find a solution
to over come my lostfulness.
Lights shine bright around me,
but darkness is all I see
for there is no light around
to guide lonely people like me.

Born within the darkness
raised within it to,
but people don’t realize
the hell that I go through.
Loves light never shone on me
and probably never will.
For lonely people like
me have never known love that’s real.
