Eagle Christian Poem by Luke Easter

Eagle Christian

As the eagle soars far above in the sky,
You look and declare, “soon, so will I, ”
With passion rising high from the spirit,
A longing desire faithfully to be near it.

Darkness of the storm covers the clouds,
At the top of your voice shouting out loud,
“I will never ever be moved by what I see, ”
Philippians 4: 19, “God supplies all my needs.”

Following Isaiah 40: 31 and on the Lord I wait,
Proverbs 24: 10, strength is strong I will not faint,
Mentally flying to the banks of the stratosphere,
From this view the pathway is straight and clear.

Book of Psalms, verses 3 through 6, in chapter 103,
Forgiven of all iniquities & healed of every disease,
Redeemed, beautified, loving kindness, tenderness,
Renewed strong, good like an eagle, I cannot forget.

Righteousness, justice for me, all who are oppressed,
Accept the crown of mercy to receive God’s very best,
Praise! Yes my soul forget not (one of) all His benefits,
Satisfying your mouth, saved from corruption of the pit.

Why are many Christians divorced from promised bliss?
Constantly backsliding they delet the consecrated kiss,
Living like chickens or birds no higher than small trees,
Kingdom communication missed by a desire to achieve.

And don’t complain to others in a storm, no need to tell,
Keep spreading the word like everything is going well,
If an eagle’s sick we never see it in a state of being weak,
Naked they absorb rays atop the highest mountain peak.

No 1 alive can examine the wait then estimate how long,
Spread your wings, steady on the right, avoid all wrong,
Those who have ears be prepared to take heed and listen,
We only fly over a storm when we’re an Eagle Christian.
