Dying To Live Poem by Stacy Stiles

Dying To Live

Rating: 5.0

We live to die, we die to live.
Some amidst this life we give.
While others cheat, lie and take,
Deny their faults and mistakes.

A legacy left is what we taste.
Live each day not out of haste.
Take the time to share your mind,
To offer help, be always kind.

Say “I love you” to those you do,
and wipe the slate you did imbrue.
Tender kindness to those who hate.
Witness their hatred start to abate.

Some will compromise principles,
So they may seem invincible.
But integrity they have not.
Morals and values nearly sought.

So we live to die, and die to live.
Can you say yourself you give?
Do you take time for those in need?
Or is it yourself you only feed?
