Dying Alive Poem by Sakza Maggz

Dying Alive

Rating: 2.5

Made a visit to the cemetery last night
But the graves where full
So I couldn't even make it past the gate

Stood there for a while
Till the gates man chased me away
With a curse in his eyes
I showed him my heels without protest
The graves were full anyway

On my way away
I travelled past man of sorrow
Man of grief and suffering
On this day horiffied by tomorrow

Silent voices still talking
Perishing souls sleep walking
Dead man walking
Till the gates man showed the way

Till the gates man showed the way
The graves man dug the grave
As dead man curved the lane
In a descending order of the brave
I could't even make it past the gate
The graves were full anyway

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Sometimes, early in the morning we awake with a sense of defeat. We want to give up on life, our dreams and all hope. But sometimes we are lucky that there is a greater force out there that helps us concur all. Even when we are knocking at death door God firghts us for us

Giving up is easy that's why people often choose to give up when the going gets tough....we must not always take the easy way out, coz everything worth having is hard to get. Siya_! !
