Dwelling mentally on sensual things
breeds attachment to them.
From attachment craving comes.
From craving arises anger
when it is frustrated.
Anger produces delusion.
Delusion causes forgetfullness of the self.
It causes mental misery.

it seems to me, tony, that we are so created or constituted to respond to sensual things—me to the beauty of women for example. what helps me is to bring all of it to God and to be thankful for women's beauty, tasty food—enough food to eat! —a comfortable bed to sleep in... for these are all gifts of God, yes? -glen
