Dusk Poem by John Leon

Dusk

Breach another day no more
Come to this hollow place, what for?
Where wingless angels are set free,
Back and forth, from you to me
Gazed back has the abysmal mistress
Who unwound me to a wick
And set the spark that lit the flame
To illuminate this eternal pain
'Till enchantress unwirls her saber stick,
Which cuts me out of pure magic
But still, that which has passed is done
And soon will I with setting Sun

One thing I've noticed in your poetry is amazing imagery. You use your words to paint such pictures, pictures that leave you with thought and (for me at least) a longing to drift along in the world you create. Keep writing and sharing please.
