Drop The Drop
In the holy presence of
Lord Buddha,
His disciples gathered
In a mood awe-filled
The Lord presented a
Question poignant,
"If you are given
A drop of water
How would you preserve? "
With surprise all
Exclaimed,
"It is but a drop!
How can it be enduring? "
The Lord quibbled:
"Drop the drop
In the ocean bear, to bear!
