Dressed In White Poem by Ima Ryma

Dressed In White

Here I do be all dressed in white,
The dress my mother gave to me.
She said I was a lovely sight,
Such a beautiful bride to be.
And then my father at my side,
Together we walk down the aisle,
Going to give away this bride
To the man I do love, and I'll,
With this man, be sharing my life.
For me it's such a time of bliss.
In moments I will be the wife
Of my husband, sealed with a kiss.

A hopeful future for us starts now,
As we take our wedding vow.
