Dressed For Breakfast Poem by Ima Ryma

Dressed For Breakfast

The early bird catches the worm.
How 'bout the early dragonfly?
Well, this dragonfly can affirm
Early morn there's a good supply
Of insects crawling on the plants.
And insects are what I do eat.
So it's not just by happenstance
That on a plant's planted my feet
At break of dawn for breakfast time,
As unsuspecting bugs come to
My jaws, and sunlight shows that I'm
Glistening in early morn dew.

Early mornings are good times when
Lots of tasty bugs 'dew drop' in.
