Dreamworld Poem by silke m..

Dreamworld

I guess there was sand in my eyes,
Couldn’t see the lies
I was stupid, so naïef
Just couldn’t believe
The cruelty all around
All I could here was a love sound
When my eyes were finally open
I saw the truth and I was broken
Now I’m wondering what is wrong
With holding on so strong
On a world that may not be
Cause at least that world made me happy

This a beautiful poem, Silke. So true, that the world can be harsh and full of lies. But there is also so much beauty, love and kindness. I am so deeply convinced that kindness and truth is on the increase in this world and that slowly we are moving to the dream world. Of course what we see in the news is not pointing in that direction but what we see in the news is only a supernegative sensationalised selection of what happens People tend to call me naive as well, Sillke, but I see it as a compliment Keep you level of naivity at a reasonable level Do not throw it away. Please visit the website called random acts of kindness. It reports a bit of the other side of the news.
