Dreams Ii Poem by Patricia Gale

Dreams Ii

Rating: 5.0

Dreams of gold and silver
Love and war and things to come

The sweetest of them ever
A slice of heaven or just a crumb

Love suspended from the stars
Or light hugs of moon beams

Leaving hearts marked with scars
Or cold and dreary screams

Fulfilling a lonely soul
Leaving warmth for morning’s light

A bottomless empty hole
Falling endlessly far from sight

They come and they go
Some stay to be replayed

Fading and running to and fro
Some invited and some invade

Never fear for they are always here
Some to follow and a few unmade
