Dreams, I Said No To Poem by Jithu Varghese

Dreams, I Said No To

Rating: 5.0

Visions I see
Too many to forsee
Different they are in color and spirit
Shocking and Glaring
One connecting the other in some way
sleepless nights
collision & fright
trying to figure out the chord
As I wondered
if it was a missed call
From up Above
To convey a message from the actual call!
But again it was too Much to wield
A far cry for a mediocre Soul
All I wished was for it to fade away
And When it finally did
It felt like treason to thee
I miss those nights
Filled with adventure and mystery
Wonder and Horror
Reasons to stay true
And bid reality adieu
Well, Here I wait for a new forecast
Till then Roses are Blue, Violets are pink
Where moments are true with Lather and brink!

Such a fascination...............the mesmerising dreams all the way through the rigid journey of our minds.Beautiful piece Jithu.

Wonderfully written insight into the workings of the unknown. The restless nights of a (possibly) psychic tele (pathic) operator are neatly described and the poem has a very good flow to it...dark, smooth & philosophical... that suits the topic just fine! Keep it up & continue writing!
