Dreams-Dreamers Poem by LINET SABASTIAN

Dreams-Dreamers

Rating: 5.0

Dreams can be beautiful, they can be nightmares too.
We all dream, but we don't chase everything we dream about
Sweet dreams keep us meditating and imagining
Nightmares scare us and we long not for the nights to come
We meet dreamers with different dreams
Our dreams are different and they remain different

When we drag ourselves into people's dreams
And forget about our own dreams time waits not for us
Dream your own dreams for dreams are valid
Chase your own dreams for you will achieve your goals
Choose to dream positively
Choose to dream with positive dreamers

Dream not to fall in love with a dreamer
Dream not to be dragged into the dreamer's dreams
A dreamer will always be a dreamer
You will never change a dreamer
When you think you have they dream differently
Focus on your dreams it is better that way

When you fall in love with a dreamer
For some time you dream together in the lovely nights
All looks so beautiful, you are in heaven for a moment
The sweet kisses are just a dream
The warm embraces another dream
The tight hugs are just another dream

Then suddenly the dream is over
It turns dark and the stars stop shining
Reality sets in and the truth is hard to take
Then you realize it is a dream not worth dreaming
The nightmare sets in and you hate the cold nights
Will the next dream be sweet or another nightmare?
