Dreams And Distances Poem by Lord Dylan ParrishSubda of Sealand

Dreams And Distances

Rating: 3.5

Were I to: hold you in my loving eyes
and show you worlds beyond your dreaming mind
(as dreams are, by imag’ning, trapped in bind) ,
then such would hush my sorrowful heart’s cries;
or find myself a worthy man for skies
of Heaven’s glory, I’d ne’er find
a truer love so patient or so kind,
so, within you, my sorrowful heart lies.

But you are far away from me of late.
Though reach, beyond, my thoughts you are within,
for I, tonight, still find you in my dream.
But distance may be a cruel tool of fate,
as, since our parting, I find myself in
more love with you than words can make it seem.
