Dreams And Butterflies Poem by Indika Thushara Gamage

Dreams And Butterflies

Rating: 5.0

The dreams of butterflies from the clouds, falling and falling
Like petals in the falling rain with many rainbows
From the edge of the night, waiting for lovers
Fly here and there and enter into the minds in deep night

Try to fly away through the broken windows
from paralyzedparadise, fired past, seeking tomorrow
Open the door for universe lost for love
Falling stars from giant's shoulders to the river

Nothing writes poems for you and your pain
Sorrow and glee both will sleep on same cot
With a need of big yawn for loneliness
catch a falling leaf to become a line for a poem

Wards wearing white masks carry our thoughts
Soft rain drops make holes for new seeds
We sleep with not others but sleep with others
Midnight dream is on the morning grass

The sun shares the light with friends and foe
Still we build boarders in our world
Shaded peacock evening with many eyes
Naked young frog leaps into golden silence

One dream becomes another butterfly
We lay by the river before seagulls coming
Mist is disappearing in the autumn rain
Dreams design you and butterflies fly.
