Dreams Poem by Verbaas Mij

the life of a dreamer -
to fall asleep and neer wake up.
the longevity
of a false reality -
the breast which feeds them.
fantasy blends to accept the banished
or forgotten.
reliving lies
or deceits guise
exposed. haunting
witha looming terror.
sweat escaping with
dreams, like shackles,
tying you down.
the dreamers wish -
to admit a wrong
and have it be fantasy. to escape
in darkness, and
sweat in daylight.
