Dreams
If parting is such sweet sorrow
Then what is this pain taking strides
For only a truly cruel God
Would tease beauty before my eyes
To see is not the agony
The temptations to reach is there
For the believe in life's chances
Is a deep scar you will bear
But as the time begins to tick away
And the tears find their places to dry
The tragedy fills a new chapter
And that hope can finally die
