When I dream in the night
as I've fallen from day
I dream of our lives
like you never went away

I remember your face
the look in you eyes
when I'd pull from a kiss
that utter surprise

Your hand always found
my hand and held tight
as if you were thrilled
you got to keep me tonight

Your embraces so lovely
your passoinate kiss
the thud of your heart
the beats my heart missed

Together we were
what true love should be
I would pay any price
to again be you & me
