Dreamer's Lullaby Poem by Wynand Johannes Louw

Dreamer's Lullaby

As the rain drips softly to the ground,
I think of your sweet smile and gentle embrace,
and hope you hear it too.

And in hearing that you’d sleep soundly tonight,
without fear of what your dreams may hold,
without regret for what’s in the past,
without hesitation in what tomorrow may bring.

I wish your heart relief and pray the He’d
hold you near when I am not there to do so.

As starts twinkle silently, flashing the memories
of good times held close to heart,
and tough times that help us appreciate the good,
I think of you, and your heart that deserves to be lived…
