Dreamer Poem by Christopher Montalvo

Dreamer

It's not so hard to dream,
You should try it sometime,
Chamomile tea to soothe your nerves,
You deserve some peace of mind,
My sweet dreamer.

Slowly stroking your hair,
Kiss your rosy red cheeks,
Wish you good night,
As your enter your fantasy,
Filled with surprise and delight,
A vision where flowers grow,
From the palm of your hand,
Everything you touch becomes alive,
The power is timeless,
The road is endless,
The scenery leaves you breathless,
The goddess of your own sub-conscious.

Safe and secured,
Free to roam where the light,
In your heart glows the most,
Imagine and create as you go,
But when doubt lingers,
Your fears create a storm,
Raining on your parade,
Running for cover because you're afraid,
Of these fears that you've always evaded,
Left you feeling rejected and jaded,
But instead of falling to the ground,
Keep dancing until the rainbow arrives,
From which your faith has been deprived,
If your will is strong enough,
The sun will shine through,
Before you and I say adieu,
Kiss the clouds away,
Promise to never lose hope,
Because only then,
Will your soul truly break through.
