Dreamer Poem by brian saling

Dreamer

In silent skies he does fly
onward moving fast and high
where he goes in darkest nights
moving quickly to seek and find
things that bring her peace of mind

in dreams she wander searching far
making wishes in the stars
will alone he always be
shall happiness soon find him at last
or will the cycle simply last

in silver moon beams
he searches the night
seeking shelter to be held tight
angels wings carry him flight
could this night be the night

The hunter who hungers
for so much more
returns back home
and through his door

alone to lay upon his bed
his lips of traces of blood he fed
his life isnt one that is easily to explain
at times his tears they fall like rain

of haunted heat and darkest soul
wild sensual hungers never told
Oh taking his pleasures without fail
but still alone to tell his tale

In his dreams she holds him tight
and only then does it feel right
endless times he wishes never to rise
yet when he awakens the dream dies

Oh woman of darkness where are thee
come and take him
and set him free
you of hell fire's darkest nights
take your dark angel and hold him tight
