Dreamcatcher Poem by Tony Kemp

Dreamcatcher

I’m mailing you a
mail-order dream,
post-haste,
stampless,
par avion,
first-class dream.
How else should dreams travel?
Collection point –
Dreamcatcher –
web primed,
bead braced,
feathers fluffed,
preened.

Breathe deeply!
Smooth the sheets!
Fluff up the pillows!
Duff the duvet!
Stay awake! Alert! Aware! Await!
Catch my dream for you,
a-whistling down the wind;
for my dream for you
is
your dream for you.
