Dragonfly Poem by Juan Olivarez

Dragonfly

Dragonfly just buzzing around,
Over the stream he flies up and down.
Perching on a long slender weed,
Sees his reflection, quite handsome indeed.
The dragonfly is up in the sky,
Gossamer wings just whizzing by.
Red, green, yellow, and blue,
A flying rainbow speeding by you.
The dragonfly has a fearsome name,
And legendary is his fame,
Kaleidoscope vision, in his huge bug eyes,
Must be a trip, when he takes off and flies.
