Dragon Is Just Sleeping Poem by Tanya K.Tuomi

Dragon Is Just Sleeping

Do you trust
That this Dragon
Is dead
For
May be
He is
Just sleeping?
Are you sure
There're no demons
Around?
I'm afraid
To wake up
In my tower
Again
With that
One
Narrow
Window
Barred
With my fears
Of insanity,
With my
Diffidence
With my
Lack of faith
In the fairytales
That this world
Speeds
To burn
In its merciless
Fire
And to stare
At the constant
Heaviest
Clouds
Making their
Way to the
North
At the amaranth
Ominous
Sunsets
Above
Forever
Frozen trees
Always
Hearing
The Dragon's
Whisper
Behind my
Back
"Never
Will
He come
Never
Will he
Love
Never
Will you
Be"
