****doppelgänger**** Poem by Michael Moorcroft

****doppelgänger****

Rating: 2.6

He’s stolen my looks,
And read all my books,
He’s stolen my clothes,
Yes the basics too!
My underwear raided,
He’ll need smaller sizes,
He’s copied my walk,
And now knows how I talk,
He’s mirrored my hair,
And captured my flare,
He’s worked for my build,
But he isn’t as skilled,
He’s got my posture,
And pulls it off well,
My shoes he has,
That he will never fill,

My identity stolen,
It is time for a change,
Let’s shake things up,
I’ll have a range.

*A German word for any double or look-alike of a person
