Don't wake me up now
Let me sleep in today
Getting up, I won't allow

I don't want to wake up
Please let me sleep
I had a rough night last night
Leave me in my bed to weep

I had a bad dream,
I fell out of bed
And this pounding noise
Just won't get out of my head

If I get up
Who knows what I'll do
I could completely fall over
Or turn a bad shade of blue.

I could trip and fall
And whack my head
I could break my arm
On the side of my bed

Just let me sleep
Let me lay down
Don't wake me up
Don't make a sound
