Don'T Take Things For Granted Poem by Lu Vernezze

Don'T Take Things For Granted

What would you do if the water ran dry
And the sun could scold your face?

What would you do if everyone disappeared
And you felt so out of place?

What would you do if the music stopped playing
And you couldn't hear people sing?

What would you do if you lost your sight
And you couldn't see a thing?

What would you do if you lost your home
And got kicked out in the rain?

What would you do if no one would believe you
And they all thought you were insane?

All these questions you may think are irrelivant
But that's not true

Don't take these things for granted
For they could be coming true
