Don'T Pretend To Be True

Rating: 5.0

Don't cry when I die, try to laugh with me now.
Live for those who are alive, let them not die uncared.
Don't keep your love for display after death.
What do you want to pretend?
Who cares your rituals after death?
Don't remind me rituals of stone-age.
Life is a journey forward, look ahead.
Don't conclude ‘this was the way it was done before'
Earth is no more the center.
The Sun is no more revolving around the earth!
Awake
All truths around are censored.
Don't be fooled by the preachers.
Learn from the nature on your own.
Question 'the truths'
Rewrite the history.
Come what may, Rules are made to be broken
From time to time

A well articulated poem with powerful message. People are left to suffer without help even while they are on the verge of death in their sick bed, only for relatives, friends, neighbours... to turn around when the sick is dead to help and support financially for what they call befitting burial. This is the apex of hypocrisy. It's a nice poem written with insight. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
