Don'T Maroon Yourself In Sorrow Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Don'T Maroon Yourself In Sorrow

Please stop shedding tears,
for simple things such as
average scores obtained,
dejection in life, rejection of love,
selection not made for posts high
and loss of pelf or yourself.

If I open the floodgates
of my blood-curdling tales of fright,
the floods in Ganges and Sindh
will dwindle away to nothing,
and all the harrowing seas will be dwarfed
by my boundless sorrow ebbing and flowing.

If the bays of tears stored
at the bottom of my eyes,
swell and overflow,
nobody in this world with all his magic
could console me with his words of talents
or heal my wounds hurt deep at heart.

Don’t write epics for the things lost.
There are people more experienced,
with untold suffering buried
in their hearts engulfed with grief
yet beam smiles of nonchalance;
the real actors surpassing those of the films.

Let the pain begone with the dried ink. Allow the tears to flow and find their way to console own misery and affliction. sometimes sorrow could teach us to survive own weakness but never take the sorrow into the peak your attention cos the damage will be un-countable. Well done.
