Don'T Look So Sad Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Don'T Look So Sad

'Doggy' has strayed to pastures new,
But she will return, don't feel so blue.
With wagging tail and eyes that shine
She will come home in her own good time.

To say a prayer is all we can do...and
'Doggy' will soon come trotting through.
Then we'll stop pining for our little friend
Worries and heartache will surely end.

Ah! Here is 'Doggy' at the windowpane
Our tears of distress have been in vain,
I am certain she will never roam again
Across those meadows in pouring rain.
