Don'T Look Down Poem by Jessica Elizondo

Don'T Look Down

The tears dropp a thousand feet.
Her pulse races on that ledge.
Her feet one step away. It's
not her fault, no she was
driven to insanity. Her heart
already jumped. The cool
wind against her face, as
her worst fears race.

He reads the note: I guess you made
your choice, Shes probably better for you
anyway. Who am I to make you stay.
This a final farewell, theres no other way
to break this spell, I'm through jumping
through the hoops, but I'll make one final jump.
I'll love you forever, goobye.

What has he done?
No this wasn't suppose to happen!
he made the wrong decision and
he was on his way to fix it when
he came across the note.
His legs can't carry him as
fast as he wants to. He breaks down
the door. 'Wait! '

She turns around with
sudden suprise, and
looks into his tear filled eyes.
'What are you doing?
You aren't suppose to be here! '

'I could tell you the same thing.
I made a mistake and realized it.
Please save me from my own
heart wenching death and don't
jump. Please come to me, my
love. I'm forever sorry.' He says.

'Am I dreaming? Halusinating maybe?
Something so perfect can't be true.'

'Please I beg you, don't. It's real
and so is our love.'

She steps back into the room, alittle dizzy
as she took one final look. She almost made
a mistake greater than death, causing his.
