Don't Leave Again
DON'T LEAVE AGAIN
If you could travel through pain and time,
If you would listen to the emptiness in this rhyme;
......... The hurt of my heart,
......... The misery in this act and art.
Then your heart is ripped
Then your senses are crippled.
........... Nothing defines the feel of a burn
........... Except through it, a scar is born.
Hear me! if you're not long gone in your futile fantasies,
In togetherness lies happiness.

Beautiful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. Distress in the bliss of love occasioned by a lover's unnecessary absence well depicted in the poem. Indeed, in togetherness lies happiness. A lovely poem with good rhyme scheme.
