Don'T Be Suspicious Of Me Poem by Richard Stoker

Don'T Be Suspicious Of Me

Don't be suspicious of me -
I'm not a Red - I've made my Bed
I'm not a Green - I've got no Team
I do not Drink - I do not Drive
I'm not on Drugs - I know no Mugs
I do not Kill - It's against my Will
My hand never Strays into the Till
Don't be suspicious of me -
I'm not a Bum - nor on the Run
I do not Smoke - I'm not that Dumb
don't be suspicious of me -
I've pulled the String and washed my Hands
I've cleaned the Bowl then dried the soap
My clothes ain't stained - I have no Cold
My cheques don't bounce - I'm not that bold
Don't be suspicious of me -
I've cut my Nails - then used the file
I'd give my life - for that certain smile
