Sometimes when I'm alone,
I think of him and wonder why
How did we lose this love we once shared?
Its like he never cared

Once uopn a time,
Not too long ago
Me and Stephen had the best love ever
But now its like it wasn't real, never

Can you see I love him
But does he love me back?
The time ticks on and he falls farther away
But I don't think I will find a way to make him stay

He first told me he loved me
And I believed he was the one for me
Maybe he is but love is testing us
And to pass it, each other we must trust

Trust wasn't really the issue
It was how life's turns can hurt you
He will be leaving for a long time again
When can our love once again begin?

Life is meant to test you
Its meant to be that way no matter what
But we could make it I know we would
But the word is if I could

I hide my feelings away from the world
I can't help that I still love you
I can't control my heart
Even from the very start

Theres been boys that I've loved
Theyre nothing like you were
You were real and you are the best
And I rather have you than all the rest

I know life is hard
Thats a fact we both must learn
Life is what you make of it
And here alone I sit

Life is life and thats true
There is no way around it either
I love him with all of my heart
But 'does he love me' is a question that tears me apart
