Dodging Despair Poem by Alan Buckholtz

Dodging Despair

Rating: 5.0

night sheds itself
searching for dawn
oceans roar
in a teardrop
the peace
of smalltalk morning
revealing our shadows
in fresh sun
turbulence of quiet anguish
overtakes delicious hope
inescapable is the unknown
of each next moment
living
yet another day
dodging despair
