Do You Like The Sea Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Do You Like The Sea

I'm reaching out to you
Quiet but controlled neighborhood
The world is evil
All the revolutions weak and disturbed

You are a lovely stranger
Maybe more artistic than intellectual
Having some obscure feeling of hope
More intuitive than rational

Consciousness a frail veil of mores
I don't want to upset your flag
Don't want their symbols challenged
Just want a quiet life

Do you see the slow motion crash?
I've been shooting wild flowers
I love full moons on the river
Love meeting the underground smiles

Beyond backing the right or left
Tonight I seen the stars
Cats and dogs are underground
Clouds and sky have a future

Do you like the sea?
