Do Preachers Really Preach?
In most churches today,
the preachers don't preach God's word the God Holy way.
They don't preach what lost sinners need to hear,
instead they preach to people with an itching ear.(2 Timothy 4: 3)
They preach to the congregation to please,
because they want the people to feel at ease.
The old devil knows he is winning everyday,
because most preachers aren't preaching the gospel
the God fearing way.
IF PREACHERS WOULD START PREACHING THE GOSPEL THE GOD FEARING WAY,
A LOT OF LOST SOULS WOULD BE SAVED EVERYDAY.
Indeed, a lot of preachers have since substituted God's message for what the people want to hear, prosperity has overshadowed salvation in the messages of 'men of God'. What a horrible abuse of gospel grace! Beautiful poem, elegantly brought forth with spiritual insight. Thanks for sharing Conley. Please read my poem POETIC MASTERPIECE.

My priest always says: WELL, I admit you to communion but with fear of God. That was the first thing he said that astonished me. Your poem reminded me of that.
