Do As You Please Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Do As You Please

Do as you please
Winter deep and dark,
Lonely are your trees
Without a lark.

Do as you please
On the roads going,
As the air freeze
Or it is here snowing.

Do as you please
in your winter song,
when you un lease
breezy weather strong.

For the night is growing
in its darkness on,
and the leaves glowing
soon are all gone.

Summer sleep in deep
winter in its night,
now is time for sleep
on to the starry light.

For the night is dim
full of wonderment ways,
in its whimsy whim
of time winter plays.
