Divine Intervention Poem by Katie Figueroa

Divine Intervention

Where dreams and purpose dance,
There met I a friend.
My life He did enhance.

Knowing Him, yet not knowing Him
One night He came, a vision beckoning.
My dashed hopes to reclaim.

No mention of wrong, nor did He threaten.
Love emanating through every word spoken.
His life He laid down, not a token.

'Believe on me, ' still echoes through time
His love never changing.
Crippled lives, He's into rearranging.

What He'd done screamed through my brain.
No condemnation did he throw.
And, in Him now I ever grow.
