Imagine,
If everyone and everything
Were the same,
Just learned that not even the Earth's rotations,
Are each time, the same,
So why should all the people,
And all the nations,
Be lame, brain washed robots,
All the same?
Their personalities maimed,
To serve some 2cent tinkered with dictator,
Of socialist fame,
Manipulation is not education.
No two blades of grass,
No two leaves of the same tree,
Are the same,
So why should We give up our diversity,
Our creativeness, our ' savoir faire'?
Because some incompetent commie wants to scare,
The World into the damnation of 'Collective Correctness'
Making us all, Slaves of the State,
Without salvation, without escape,
NO, We must say, NO! !
To this 'Brave New World'
That Aldous Huxley warned us about,
Quite sometime ago,
That we never should want to have or know,
For in it, every drop of Liberty will go.
I love the way your poetry is fueled by your enthusiasm, your humane belief system, and your poetic skill set! ! Your poems never falter in mid-stride, they drive on to the finish line. Sandra, the world is in need of more sweet but fiery souls like yours. Sweet fire- -sounds like a contradiction in terms but it describes you so well. Whatever you do, my dear poet, never conform to anything but that voice in your heart. A 10+++++++++++ of course
Universal conformity is by design geared to control, great poem!

You target the right villains - the ideologues who have already written our futures according to their abstract dogmatic plans. There's really none of us there, WE would be reduced to THEM, as in Ayn Rand's short novel about a dystopia. That's the problem: UTOPIAS give way to DYSTOPIAS. tHE PROBLEM WITH THOSE LEADERS YOU REJECT AS WE ALL SHOULD IS THAT THEY DO NOT BELIEVE IN LIBERTY - FOR OTHERS.
