Dive Poem by jacqui fleming

Dive

Dive, dive,
Deep below,
Into the heart of the sea.

Watch and learn,
Watch them swim,
There’re the queens of the sea.

They twist and turn,
Spiral up and down,
Entwined together like two hearts bound.

They’re as gray as grandpa’s hair,
But as beautiful as the sky at night,
Singing in they’re high pitched tone,
Who knows what they’re saying,
Maybe they know,
Maybe they’re singing they’re last song.

In years to come will they be?
Will they sing they’re last song?
Will they know what we did?
Will they ever forgive us?

We stopped they’re song before the end,
We cut them off far too soon,
Will they ever finish that song?
