Distractions Poem by Hillary Unknown

Distractions

Talking to him
Or talikng about her
As long as I don't
Mention the one word
That I know will send me reeling
Because I've had this feeling

Chorus:
Distractions
Helping me forget what's real
And the way that I feel
Thank God for Distractions

Watching a movie
Or walking along the beach
As long as I have some salt
In case I get a leech
You stick to my mind
But somehow I find

Chorus:
Distractions
Helping me forget what's real
And the way that I feel
Thank God for Distractions

Not thinking about you
Is harder than I thought
My friends try to help
But I can't be taught
Still I try
To make the time fly by

With Distractions
Helping me forget what's real
And the way that I feel
Thank God for Distractions
