Disruptive Eruption Poem by Phil Soar

Disruptive Eruption

They monitored the magma
As it rose from down below
Filling up the inner depths
Of an active volcano
And when it blew the lid off
There was darkness all around
As smoke and lava filled the air
And the heat scarred all the ground
Nothing on earth would stop it
Until gods will was done
So they monitored it for reference
Knowing nature though, had won
