Dismissed Forgiveness Poem by Kaila Blake

Dismissed Forgiveness

How can I forgive you after
All the pain you caused me.
From second grade all the
Way to before graduating from middle school.

No friends to talk to
Or hang out with.
Always having to go to
The lower grades to make friends.

How can I forgive you, YOU
The one who started all those
Rumors about me, you who
Made me afraid to talk to people.

Afraid that they will judge
Me just like you did back
In second grade.
You didn't even bother to
Get to know me.

How can I forgive you, when
I met you I didn't judge you
AT ALL. So why would you
Judge me when you barely knew me.

But if you had never judged me
Or started those rumors I never
Would have met my God sister.
So in some ways I’m glad
You did all that.

How can I forgive you I guess
After all these years of having
That rumor follow me. After what
You did, if I was a different person
I would NEVER forgive you.

But being who I am, I think
I’m finally ready to face you.
And whenever we do meet again
I will be ready to forgive you.
But for now all I can say is
Thank you.

You did an amazing job with this! ! ! :) . I just love it, you really showed how hard it is to forgive someone when they cause you that much pain. Great job! ! :)
