Discussing Days Poem by jayaprakash panicker

Discussing Days

Discussing days.

Coming of age is the beginning;
of ageing, of agony, of aggression
and of agitation

Life in the best of times
is the worst truth of life.
Living well is nothing short of
misery; money matters,
materials annoy
and men and women cease to exist;
a kind of dead living.

Death is not for the dying;
neither is it for the already-dead.
It is for the ones
who are live and
think that they are living.

The dead did not discuss their death,
the living are scared of it
and the dying have no other thoughts.
Still, this mystery is getting mixed
more and more with meanings.
Those who discuss it live
live life at ease.

The rest are us
who believe
that death happens one day.
Coming of age
is the commencement;
of all that cause,
You know what! ! !
death.....
