Disclosure Poem by Sumit Datta

Disclosure

We lost each other
In some very very distant past.
In some frosty vale
In some mystic forest of darkness.

Yet in this reincarnation
We can still recognize our eyes
Our souls and beats of our hearts.

Was it a devilish procrastination
Or a divine punishment?
Or was it a diabolic dream
Who knows?

Leaving far behind
The galactic darkness and nebular haze
We come here again
On this soil, on this sand.
And without touching your hand
I know our souls want to mingle
And share the stories of our horrid journey.

We must sit under the sweet green canopy
And exchange our sentiments,
Our joy, ecstasy, sorrows and tears.
We must come close and closer
And embrace our souls with full disclosure.
