Die Happy Poem by Leah Ayliffe

Die Happy

It's a fucked up world
This place we leave
We fight to breathe
We throw a dime to smile

It's a strange wild effect
It caught on fire
The dreams we want
The need to chase the cause

All wires,
they're headed somewhere
Where my thoughts don't dare
My heart still so scared

Yet at night it beats
A rhythm never to sink
Guiding through the stars
Endless sparkling calls

A milky galaxy
A secret kept just for me
I never want it to flee
disguised happiness are we

Drifting through it all
Beyond a hidden wall
A sensation thriving on the heat
of an electric sound

The number came undone
He was the stolen one
A danger paradise of love
I'll never let tear apart

In the crazy storm ahead
Angel's and clouds are brewing dread
Why am I the way I am?
A mess of art destruction.

Though the wind still blows
Howling a noise I used to know
A bed of roses and their thorns
White houses on the street alone

In turns the threads twists and chokes
The only dancing folk
Fools in a daze of hope
only to end in a looped rope

In turns the threads twists and chokes
The only dancing folk
Fools in a daze of hope
only to end in a looped rope

I'll die happy here,
I'll die happy

I'll die happy here,
in a world I made my own.

I'll die happy here,
I'll die happy

I'll die happy here,
in a world I made my own.

Hard, direct and amazing use of words. You made the reader believe and feel your thoughts. Finding final place, happy place. Hard to do. A outstanding poem.

After reading a poem, dedicated to you by Daniel Brick, I had to read your work. You indeed have a talent, a gift. Your words seem effortless. I thoroughly enjoyed this piece. Peace
